“You don’t make a photograph just with a camera. You bring to the act of photography all the pictures you have seen, all the books you have read, the music you have heard, the people you have loved.” – Ansel Adams
Sometimes you don’t need the newest, best camera to capture beautiful moments. Sometimes the best camera is the one you have with you. On a whim one afternoon recently I only had my iPhone with me and did a spontaneous photo shoot. Everything here is taken and edited on my phone.
I decided to get prints made of a few of my favorite images from my adventures and I am now selling prints over on Etsy. I’ve put a lot of effort into branding and getting it up and running so, please take a few moments to visit the brand new, “Adventure Diva’s Photo Bazaar“. And please, please share the love by passing it along to your friends. Use the code GODIVA15 to get 15% off your purchase until May 15th.
All photos are printed on Mohawk Superfine Matte Paper, a premium quality art paper. I sign all prints on the back, slip them into a protective clear cellophane sleeve, and ship in a rigid photo mailer for safe arrival. The photos are available in various sizes from 4×6, 5×7, 8×10 and 11×14. If you are interested in a different size let me know or if you have any suggestions, I’m always open to new ideas!
It’s filled with some beautiful imagery waiting to grace the walls of your home, office or make a wonderful gift for someone. Check it out…

And all the precious memories of times that once were.” – Karen Barnes
I wandered down to the National Mall and the Tidal Basin to see the cherry blossoms last weekend. They were pretty stubborn about blooming, but they eventually did. There were still quite a few trees that hadn’t quite bloomed. Still, it was a beautiful day and it made me appreciate this beautiful city.

“My, my. What beautiful blossoms we have this year. But look! This one’s late.
But I’ll bet that when it blooms, it will be the most beautiful of all.” –Fa Zhou, Mulan
